Zane Lamprey's about to get Three Sheets
Episodes begin airing on Travel Channel April 14th, 11 E/P
If you listen to the Bob and Tom show, you’ve probably heard about the show Three Sheets. In this show, Zane Lamprey is lucky enough to get paid to travel the world and explore different alcoholic drinks (including beer) and various hangover cures, after those drinks take their revenge!
If you haven’t heard about the show, here’s a little info, including a video clip. The show has just been picked up by The Travel Channel (home to some of my personal favorites, such as No Reservations, the lovely and eternally optimistic Samantha Brown, and Bizarre Foods with Connoisseur of Gross, Andrew Zimmern).

You’ll see the world one drink at a time with host Zane Lamprey, who takes bar-hopping to a whole new level. Zane has starred in shows for MTV, VH1, Comedy Central and Fine Living. Now he finds himself drinking his way around the world for the Travel Channel. From Champagne, France, to Jaco, Costa Rica, Zane is determined to finish the bottle in each of the world’s great drinking cultures.

Apparently, episodes will begin airing on Travel Channel on Wednesday, April 14th, at 11 E/P. They are launching with back-to-back episodes, starting with Hawaii. Beer made with cane? Porter made with coconut? I’m tuning in to that one for sure!
Next Zane heads to Tuscany, the birthplace of Chianti and one of my favorite places in the world. Zane encounters a wine lover’s answer to a pub crawl, and goes barefoot in a grape-stomping competition against the locals.
I don’t get to watch much TV with my busy schedule, but I’ll be watching this. Ordinarily April 14th would come and go and I’d forget to tune in, but the Travel Channel has taken care of that for us. Just visit the Three Sheets page on Facebook and RSVP to the event, and you’ll get a reminder to tune in.
You’ve got to watch this show! You’ll get to explore other parts of the world, and for crying out loud, Lamprey gets paid to drink! Who doesn’t want that gig?
